Control Ultimate Edition: Taking A New Spin on The Supernatural

Quick Review:

What is the result when you try to explain supernatural events and happenings? Unexplained events that were never solved or never found out the cause(s) of them?

Remedy’s Control attempts to built an extensive lore world and environment around supernatural events and taking a character-driven focus: main protagonist Jesse Faden.

You play as Jesse navigating through the Federal Bureau of Control, a in-the-shadows government agency dealing in supernatural events. Control‘s environments and scenes are seared into your neural matter on the get-go, akin to my mind being blown away when I first watched Neo dodging bullets or fighting Agent Smith in the theaters for the first time. The environment is beautifully detailed yet terrifying.

Control Ultimate Edition contains two DLCs: The Foundation and AWE, and long-time fans and followers of Remedy will be over-the-moon with AWE and its ties to one of Remedy’s iconic character, Alan Wake.

In my books, Control Ultimate Edition is one of the must-play games of all time and is frequently on sale. If action-adventure peppered with horror elements is your type of game, then do not miss out playing this game.
